Foundations
- Completed white to yellow belt fundamentals.
- Daily kihon drills for stance, balance, and timing.
- Added weekly stretching to improve flexibility.
Training Focus
- Practiced kata sequencing to build muscle memory.
- Light sparring for distance control and reaction.
- Breathing techniques to stay calm under pressure.
Achievements
- Earned 1st degree black belt in 2022 after a full kata and sparring test.
- Completed 2nd degree black belt in 2024 with advanced kata and endurance evaluation.
- Secured first place in a local kata showcase and commendation for consistent attendance.
- Currently assisting kids’ classes (starting 2025) and helping demonstrate beginner routines.
Current Focus
Mixing strength and rhythm for smoother kata runs.
Working on deeper stances and sharper strikes while keeping guard up throughout sequences.
Weekly conditioning: core stability, light runs, and jump rope for stamina.
Assisting classes from 2025 to mentor new students and reinforce fundamentals while teaching.
